מי זה שמטפל? (מי זה שמופיע?)

When I treat or perform, it’s not exactly me—or maybe it’s a deeply tangible version of me.
Either way, it feels different from the "self" I recognize in daily life, something distinct from how I usually experience myself.
I find it hard to pinpoint exactly what happens there, what switch is being flipped, but I will try to articulate this wonder in words.
The point is that the rational, thinking, and planning mind—no matter how intelligent—mostly interferes and becomes irrelevant in these spaces. Its judgment, even when useful and survival-oriented, is partial and incomplete.
We seek to enter a state of heightened, transcendental sensory awareness—one that questions the nature of touch and challenges our perception of time and space. The goal is to connect with a larger, more expansive system, one that can contain paradoxes and irrationality, deeply rooted in the body, where imagination emerges from sensory experience.
Activating this intuitive system requires instructing the mind to rest and dispersing awareness throughout different parts of the body. As attention spreads, focus dissolves, but in its place, a broader, holistic perception arises, allowing for rapid responsiveness.
This experience closely resembles movement meditation—like turning up the volume on the present moment.
We intentionally "disrupt" space and time—sometimes contracting space and slowing time, at other times expanding and accelerating it. This process enables access to broader states of consciousness, characterized by lightness, effortlessness, and flow, which ultimately allow for a calmer and more focused return to daily life.
Listening to intuition through movement principles of release and falling allows magic to happen. The system begins to work for you, rather than you working for it. There are no prolonged dilemmas, no second-guessing—everything happens with full attentiveness to the moment, embracing uncertainty, surrendering completely, and simply saying—yes!
At times, this state may feel disconnected from daily experiences, and in truth, it is. But it is deeply connected to the vast ocean of consciousness—different from the narrow focus we adopt to function amidst the noise of everyday life.
In treatments, as in dance, prior knowledge is unnecessary, and we do not seek the easiest or fastest path. Instead, we encourage and challenge the body through inquiry, breaking familiar patterns to encounter the new. Every moment is surprising, feeling as if it is happening for the first time.
There is a sense that each moment is being learned anew, each moment being born and dissolving simultaneously.
Vitality intensifies, and life itself begins to dance through you.
